The Descent Mission

THE DESCENT MISSION

Collaboration is power. Great things happen when we work together.
By sharing and contributing to data monitoring, your every dive can be valuable information for marine conservation.

In 2021, we not only partner with Large Marine Vertebrates Research Institute Philippines (LAMAVE), but also unite all Garmin divers across Asia - Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan – to actively take actions to protect the ocean together.

10,000+

marine encounters were recorded using Garmin Technology

Did you know ?

Every marine turtle, manta ray and whale shark can be identified based on their unique pattern.

With records of GPS location date and time duration of the encounter, temperature and depth, Garmin divers can make a contribution to science research.

Marine
